Grey Ghost Angelfish definitely inherent that “ghost” appearance from its closely related silver and zebra angelfish. Ghost angelfish show no body stripes such as those seen in wild type (silver) angelfish. Our Gray Ghost Angelfish have a grayish body color with two extremely faint black stripes that are almost invisible, giving the gray ghost angelfish a ‘clean’ appearance. One strip is located on the tail and the other strip is located on the head running through the eye. Although certain breeds of ghost angelfish can vary between different shades of grayish silver colors, they all resemble the “ghost” appearance with faint black lines.
